Pathways to Success
We believe education should be flexible and family-focused. To that end, we offer three pathways to an excellent education: the one-room school, the online school, and the homeschool program.
One-Room Schools
We offer in-person instruction in our flagship one-room school in Nelson, GA. Limited space is available, and we are currently enrolling for the 2025-2026 academic year.

We are working closely with other communities to open campuses across the state, and eventually across the country. Sign up for our newsletter to be notified when a campus opens near you.

Online School
We offer an online school option for students who are excellent independent learners who want to move at their own pace.

Unlike other online programs, Ahlberg Academy Online students are welcome to audit one-room school classes by video anytime. We also provide one-on-one tutoring by video as requested.
Online school is best suited for older students who would like to earn credits toward graduation rapidly. It may not be suitable for younger students who benefit more from in-person instruction.
Parent-Led
Homeschool
We offer a complete homeschool option for parents who want to teach their children themselves. All content is provided, and parents schedule lessons and activities themselves.

Unlike other homeschool programs, Ahlberg Academy Homeschool students are welcome to audit one-room school classes by video anytime. We also offer a training course and summer conference for parents who want to hone their teaching skills.
